Supportability Engineering uses analyses and logical processes to evaluates a System design for its functionality and technical effectiveness, to make sure it will meet the needs of its requirement.
It makes sure that logistic support considerations are integrated into a design to determine the operational effectiveness of a System throughout its life cycle and achieve an optimised cost of ownership and sustainment.
